Becoming a journalist has been quite an adjustment from being an “every day” type of writer. Ever since we were young, we’ve been taught a certain style of writing that’s been embedded into our brains every year in school. Now, we are breaking most of those rules… and I kinda like it!
I’ve also learned that the direction of a story can change for the better when you receive awesome quotes and ideas from the people you interview.
So far I’ve enjoyed being a part of the Seminole Scribe!
